Clip 1 of 8 - Introductory comments by Cyprus Centre founder Professor John Charalambous and Centre Director Dr Alicia Chrysostomou, and welcoming address by Peter Droussiotis as President of Episteme and the National Federation of Cypriot Organisations in the UK, to set the context for the event featuring Government Spokesman Stefanos Stefanou. Government spokesman Stefanos Stephanou then provides a historical overview and an outline of the current situation of the Cyprus problem on the occasion of the Golden Anniversary of the Republic of Cyprus.
